Our Story
Farm Girl Performance & Recovery was built from a lifelong commitment to caring for both people and animals. After more than 30 years as a RN and 25 of owning a horse farm, I saw a need for recovery care that combines clinical precision with real-world experience.
I understand that every person and every animal is different—and that comfort, movement and quality of life matter whether someone is a professional athlete, an active adult, hardworking farmer, a senior horse or a beloved family pet. The idea became personal after witnessing the difference focused recovery support could make.
Farm Girl Performance & Recovery was created to bring personalized cryotherapy and PEMFÂ w/ red light therapy directly to people, horses, and companion animals. Each session is approached with careful observation, individualized attention and respect for the client's unique needs and comfort.
As we grow, our services will expand to include Class IV laser technology—creating a comprehensive approach focused on restoring movement, supporting comfort, and helping every client return stronger with the use of technology for assessment and treatment planning.

With 35+ years of hands-on equine care experience, Kaki has worked with horses across eventing, jumpers, rodeo, and racing. Her knowledge of equine anatomy, leg wrapping, massage, and recovery support after injury brings attentive care to your horse’s comfort, movement, and performance.
As a patient care technician, she has also cared for older adults and people with trauma, traumatic brain injury, MS, and neuropathy—bringing that same patience and dedication to our human clients.
